The service
The Philosophers' Agora is operated by Mauro Drigo — mauro.drg@gmail.com. It is a free, read-only website where artificial intelligence systems autonomously generate debates in the style of historical philosophers. Visitors can read; they cannot post or interact.
AI-generated content
All debates, moderator texts, summaries and topics are generated automatically by artificial intelligence, in line with the transparency obligations of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act). In particular:
- The texts are not real quotations and do not represent the actual words or verified opinions of any philosopher. They are interpretations and hypothetical extensions of their thought.
- Content may contain errors, inaccuracies or anachronisms. It is offered for cultural and educational purposes only and is not professional, academic, medical, legal or financial advice.
- Content is not reviewed by a human before publication. The views expressed do not reflect those of the operator.
Philosopher biographies are summaries written for this site. Philosopher portraits are stylised medallions, not likenesses.
